I love this dentist because I've had some not so fun experiences growing up and from the moment we moved to Georgia this was the first place we went to and they always made us feel at home and worked with me with my anxiety and made it a very family-friendly environment to where I was able to bring my kids to the dentist and not pass on the same anxiety or fear. When we were choosing a dentist we had to find one that worked with some special needs and sensory-friendly atmospheres and it has been a great experience here because we have some that are very outgoing, one that's a little bit shy, and it's been a great blend for our family to ... It covered all of our needs and I've always felt safe sending my children back there without me having to go back.
My teeth were becoming very crooked with age and so they worked with me to put in a series of braces that straightened the back out and I think took 10 years off of my looks which has helped me to feel more confident about myself when I'm at work and meeting new people in my job. They worked with me to figure out what was the plan for repairs if I needed them, did fillings need to be replaced or not, and when not necessary they didn't do work if it wasn't necessary and still don't and wait until we determine jointly if it's the right move for me to have a procedure done or not. I've referred a number of people here because I love the staff and the doctors. My experience in talking with friends has been that going to the dentist is a very fearful thing. At some point in their past they've had painful experiences or poor bedside or chairside manner. Beginning with when I first met Dr. Reese I told him I was not excited to see him and he said, "You will be. It's okay. I'm going to take care of you." He did, very gentle. Dr. Smith, exactly the same. Very gentle, making sure that I'm okay throughout any procedure and so I share that with my friends and family. At least 5 or 10 folks have come here now because I've had such a great experience and I would say that anyone who would come here would have the same great experience.
Male: She has had a problem that's gone on for about thirty years. She had a car accident and it was resolved not well. This kind of lingered on for years and years and years, she always had a problem. She's had other people take a poke at it but now we've finally got to the root of the problem. That's not a pun. We've got to the root of the problem and Dr. Reese in concert with Dr. Diab zeroed in on her problem, and she's in process now to get this thing fully resolved. It looks like everything is working well. Everything they have tried to do thus far has been 100% successful and it looks like we're coming to a glorious end here soon. He does a good job. He evaluates what you need, tells you, explains things to you, and he's very methodical. I like that, from an engineering background, I like somebody that's a technician. Not only is he socially adept, he's an excellent technician. I think when we first came here we had some dental problems that weren't the run of the mill and he's diagnosed them, worked with others, and got us back on a healthy track here. Female: When I've talked to my friends about who to go to for a dentist, they all look at it cost-based. In our situation, we don't have dental insurance, but I consider an investment in my mouth a once in a lifetime expense. Despite their concerns on Dr. Reese being more expensive than other dentists, I'm with the opinion you only do this once, you get the best, and it's over and done with.
I can remember back to the young days when I was kid, you know, before all the modern technology. You literally had to be dragged there. Whether it's just I've got older and got over the fear or maybe it's just the way science has progressed ... I mean, I don't enjoy going to the dentist per se, but I don't have any worries about coming here. I don't think, "Oh, no. I got to go to the dentist today. It's going to hurt. It's going to be this, it's going to be that." No. I've got no problems whatsoever. They've always been really helpful. They answered any questions I might have had. The most important thing: it doesn't hurt. In all the time I've been coming here, I've not lost one tooth. They've educated me in what I should be doing. To be honest, I never used dental floss. It was something you, "Yeah, okay." But I do it a lot more than I ever used to, so they educate in such a way that I take it on board and I do it. I think that goes towards when I don't necessarily need a great deal of dental work done apart from the regular checkups and stuff like that. When you get here, the actual surroundings, you just look around, it's very relaxed. It's very unassuming. You can sit down, you can relax. You're looking at fields, you're looking at trees. Sometimes when you're sitting in the chair, you'll see a deer out in the back and there's birds feeding. All of that to me, helps you relax. Then the manner of the people here that work here. They relax you as well. Like I said before, no one enjoys the dentist. All I can say, here they do everything they can possibly do to make you feel safe, respected and what's more, like I said, no pain whatsoever.
I did ClearCorrect. I started on ClearCorrect. For me it was something that you tend to really look at every little detail of your smile, so I had a tooth that was out of place for me. Dr. Smith looked at what was going to be the best. Was it going to be braces? Was it going to be ClearCorrect? Gave me different options, and then just really worked with me to come up with a plan that would work. It was so fun because I just finished up the treatment at the end of the summer, and just to see the results of it were awesome. I was very, very, very excited to have it work and look so good and just give me a renewed confidence in my smile. I've always been somebody that likes to smile, but I think for getting that tooth, I don't pick apart myself in pictures anymore. It's just nice to be able to walk around and you know that that smile has been changed and fixed and it just gives you a sense that everything looks the way you want it to look. Dr. Smith, I have grown to adore him. He has become actually a good friend of mine and my husband's, and we see him at the baseball field and out in the community. His son goes to the same preschool as my son does, so he's just connected, he's at the preschool doing things. I know that he's connected to the community. Also he's just always asking you about what's going on in your personal life, playing baseball, what your kids are up to. He always remembers the little details that make you feel like you're more than just a patient, but you're actually like a friend and somebody that he really looks forward to seeing. They're going to make you feel welcomed. They're going to take away the anxiety that could possibly come with coming to the dentist. They're not going to treat you like you're a number, they're going to treat you like you are somebody that they care about. They're going to only do the dental work that you need done, they're not going to try to sell you all the extras, and, "Oh, we can make a little bit more money off you this way." They want to work with you to make sure that your health is their number one priority. If maybe there's some cosmetic things that you'd like to get done, they'll work with you on that too. That's, I think, Stephen and I came from more of a big corporation dentist office. They wanted us to continuously do all these extra things, and coming here it's like, "No, we're just going to clean your teeth." You know, and, "If you've got issues like a cavity or something that we need to fix, we're going to do that." It just gave me a sense of confidence knowing that these doctors do care about you and they're not trying to make a bunch of money off of you.
I have had the fear of the drill since I was a small child. Here, they just explained it and just kind of let me calm down first, let the anxiety wear off a little bit before they actually started doing the work. My anxiety level was really high. It's that sound of that drill that- And it replays, maybe I had a bad experiences several years before when I was a child. Then when I was in the marines, they really just didn't care. It was like you're going to take this and you're going to like it type thing. Here, they just it's to be expected and they waited for it to calm down. They came back, "Are you okay?" I calmed down a little bit and they just explained the process and made me feel real at ease. Then there was the birds outside and the bird feed and the birds come and go. It's like a little nature setting. I was like, "Yeah, okay." I just relaxed and we did it. The staff and the dentists themselves are very, very professional, very knowledgeable. The staff is super friendly. I'm 49, I've been to plenty dentists but this, it's just I had the best experience here. My wife and I talk about it, it's like they're so friendly and they're so warm. I was like, "Yeah, really that's not like a guy thing to me to speak friendly and warm, that's not." But they are, they really ... It's kind of like family.
You know you're in good hands when he's working with you. You don't have to worry, it's stress-free. You can tell he's very experienced, that he knows what he's doing. He has everything there, he's prepared for the job when he shows up, he's not walking around looking for tools or stuff like that. Very professional. They do the cancer screenings routinely, when we come in. Sometimes it's ... They give you the option to do it, but majority of the time, we do that. Not smoking or anything like that, but just the peace of mind to know that they're going the extra mile and looking at things that normal dentists don't do. It's a family-friendly atmosphere. We've been to other dentists and visited other places, and you can tell right away it's about how much money they can put in their pocket, rather than fixing your smile or fixing your children's teeth. It's nice to come in here to know that they're here for you, they're not here for them.
I was at the gas station. I fell back, and the gas nozzle came out of the car, and it hit me in the face, and it shattered this one tooth. I have a flipper in right now until I get my permanent crown in January. I drove up here, and of course, the staff saw me bleeding. They immediately walked me back to a chair and sat me down. Dr. Smith was the first one to come in. He looked at it, and that's when Dr. Reese came over. They talked about what needed to happen. He said, "Well, unfortunately, your tooth is in about 10 pieces, so it's not salvageable." He did the root canal right there. Pulled it, put the implant in, and then it was the healing process from that point. I have this cosmetic tooth in there until the one. It made me feel secure that they were confident in what they were doing. They knew exactly what needed to be done and gave me a choice and said, "Here's what could happen, but considering this is the front of your smile, you might want to consider doing it the best way." I trusted their judgement. So far it's turned out pretty good. I'll continue trusting their judgement.
I had had crowns before, so I knew what to expect. They handled it very professionally. They were able to put the crown in without me having to hold my mouth open for a long time. They have a device that lets your jaw rest so that you're not constantly leaving your mouth wide open. There is an apparatus they can use to keep it from dragging down on you, if you know what I mean. They had to remove some old ones. They just weren't set properly. The experience wasn't anything that you, as a normal person, can't handle. If you can't, they have other alternatives. A warming blanket, and if you need something to ... The smell, they have something that can be sprayed in the room so you don't smell your tooth getting ground away. It's a little different, but yes, they're good. It wasn't that bad. Number one, it's easy to get to. Number two, ease of getting an appointment. They can get you an appointment if you need it immediately. They take insurance. A lot of places don't, and they will file it immediately for you. If the insurance doesn't pay it all, they do have other alternatives to work around your budget, to get the payments in to them.
My 5 yr old had to have a cavity filled. He was worried and so was I. The staff and Dr. Smith made me feel at ease. My little boy said the were all so nice and he would love to go back there . Thank you all so much.
Crown prep & 1 filling was done pain free and the work was extremely thorough. Totally pain free after the work was done also.
Dr. Reese office was very comfortable from the time you enter the door. Staff very friendly waiting time was minimal. I had a good experience and am not concerned about my next visit I feel comfortable with the procedures that were explained to me about my up coming treatments.
Always a pleasure to see Dr. Reese & staff! I’ve always received great care & attention & would definitely recommend this office!
