Usually with the kids, we tell the parents to bring them in during one of their appointments. They’re in the room. We give them some toys to play with. If they’ll let us—hop up in the chair and let us count their teeth, that’s fine. If they don’t want to that first visit, that’s fine. They leave with a little toy or balloon or something. They have a good first experience, which is the big thing. Once you do that, they’re looking forward to coming back to get that balloon or toy. We just proceed from there and have very few problems.
